BRAC Afterschool Club runs Monday to Friday during term times between 3.30pm and 6pm. At the end of the school day the children are met by the BRAC staff at Bishop Road School. Reception, Year 1 and 2 children are collected from their class teachers, Year 3 & 4 children have a meeting point in the central playground and Year 5 & 6 children are  met in the Silverthorne playground by the benches. All children and staff wear Hi-Vis jackets for the short walk up to The Dirac Centre.

The building is split into two rooms, for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, led by room leaders and overseen by the Play leader. Activities in each room are age appropriate and all children have access to outside play areas.

The children are offered snacks, drinks and fruit throughout the session and dietary requirements and allergies are catered for.

Children need to be collected by their parents and carers by 6.00pm. When collecting your child please use the lane at the end of Fenton Road, ensuring you press the buzzer at the green gate and state who you are picking up. Once inside the building please sign the register with the time you collected your child. Please note: Late collection will incur a fee.
